2024 Transatlantic Carrier ETA Performance Report
In 2024, Vizion tracked over 13.3 million container journeys with event level detail across all major global trade lanes leveraging more than 230 sources. We analyzed the accuracy of estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) provided by ocean carriers to better understand reliability and performance trends. ETAs differ from carrier schedules, in that they are the carrier's first operational information shared after a container departs origin.

NEW! Just released, this report covers the North America-South America trade lane, including both southbound (North America to South America) and northbound (South America to North America) container flows. The South America to North America trade lane plays a critical role in food, agriculture, and raw materials supply chains, yet it remains one of the most unpredictable lanes in terms of ocean carrier performance. The analysis evaluated major carriers including ZIM, COSCO, Maersk, Hapag-Lloyd, ONE, CMA-CGM, and MSC.
